Oriental Insurance Company Officers Association was formed in 1978 by stalwards like Shri R.S.Tuteja, Shri R.B.Sail as Federation of Oriental Officers Association. The Federation was affiliated to The National Confederation of General Insurance Officers’ Associations formed in 1979 by the veterans like Shri R.K.Dwivedi, Shri Tuteja, Shri Sail, Shri Gopal etc. to name a few. Since than, your Association—our Association has been the majority Association in the General Insurance Industry & in Oriental. OICOA is the Only checked Off Officers Association n Oriental during the last three check Off Exercises conducted by the Management. OICOA has always known by its ethics & value based struggle for the just rights of Officers. The torch of OICOA was taken forward by Shri J.Cyril, the committed comrade & leader over the years. Now since Father Cyril has handed over the baton to the younger leadership & is guiding us.

We at OICOA are committed for the cause of the Officers be it the Policy Matters or Individual Issues. Be it Wage Revision or Promotion Policy or TMP or Check Off. The Association is fighting the battle with the Mangement not only in the Company but also in Court wherever & whenever it becomes essential to do so. We have filed cases in various High Courts—Chennai, Chandigarh on Check Off, Common Seniority list, Promotion Policy. We consider ourselves to be the part of the Management & always cooperate & suggest ways in Management. We have submitted various Papers on the subjects like HR, TMP, Promotion Policy, IT etc. Our ultimate aim & demand is Officers participation in the Board of the Company.
